New Acoustic/Vocal Cover!

Last night I recorded my acoustic and vocal cover of 'There Is' by Boxcar Racer, I've done a couple of other songs recently too but I'm proud of this one in particular, it's a good song! Have a listen below.

Jack's House & The Aquarium

So last night I stayed round my friend Jack's house, surprisingly we didn't really get up to anything ridiculous. On Saturday we went to the St. Columb carnival, the last event in their 'Carnival Week', it was.. OK I guess. So we went home and went out on the Ripstiks for a bit at the Newquay Tretherras School tennis courts, that was awesome! It was so smooth, perfect for manuals and the like. When we got in we literally just played on the guitars for a bit then watched 6 episodes straight of Family Guy. Then bed.

The next day we were going to try and meet up with Charley, but her phone was off so we couldn't get hold of her.. Ah well, her loss! We skated around for a bit, got chips, then went to Blue Reef Aquarium and went to a shark talk. Good fun! So yeah, it's her loss.

Went to See Sandfire Siren Yesterday! Or Not.

This has been a plan I've had for a while, as this band were to perform at Party in the Park 2010. All of my friends were going to go, but we didn't arrange anything until the last minute... At which point we found out that to get to St. Columb Major (where Party in the Park was taking place) we would have to catch two buses. Basically it just got too awkward for us to get there. Which SUCKED. So instead of going to see Sandfire Siren we went to the beach. Woop.

Round up of Today

Today was just an average day, although it was good, it wasn't above average. Yesterday  Molly had proposed that we go to the Boardmasters festival in Newquay, but for some unknown reason my phone didn't get her calls or texts this morning, so nothing was organised, therefore I didn't go..

So that kinda sucked, but after lunch I went out on the Ripstiks with Kyran and had a groovy lil' sesh with him, so it's all good! I'm working the next few days, get payed tomorrow, so I'm pretty certain that nothing extremely exciting will happen, so don't expect any blog posts between now and Tuesday!!

New Fav Icon

Here's the new fav icon I created for my blog, hopefully if I do everything correctly I can get this do be displayed instead of the Blogger icon up in your nav bar... But no promises ;)

EDIT: For reasons unknown to me this icon will only appear in Mozilla Firefox, but not Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Sorry folks, but if someone could help me out I'd be very grateful!

EDIT AGAIN: Finally got it working in Chrome, turns out I just had to add a tiny piece of extra html! Still not so sure about IE... Oh well, no one uses that crap anyway.
