Shakespeare Trip

I went on a trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon yesterday, along with 48 other people from year 10, to go to Shakespeare's birthplace and watch Romeo & Juliet in the Courtyard Theatre. We got to school at about 7:45am, and left on the coach at 8am, The journey took about 5 hours, which was longer than expected. As soon as we arrived we went to Shakespeare's birthplace and had a guided tour, after that we had a quick talk and went on a town trail. I was in a group with Kyran, Mike and Jay. It was pretty fun, at one point I asked some random where Starbuck's was, and it was literally just across the road... Hehe. After the town trail we went to the church in which Shakespeare lies in his grave, that was pretty special. We then went to McDonald's, this is where the fun starts. After drinking two energy drinks Kyran and I were buzzing. A group of teenagers kept walking past the window and we smiled at them every time, when it came to our turn to order, we went upstairs and told the guy what we wanted, and then Ms. Newnham came up and said that some chavs had kicked the door next to where we were eating and smashed the glass! Apparently someone told Jay to lock the door, so he told Mike to lock the door, and as he went for the lock they kicked the door and smashed it! So Mike was pretty paranoid for the rest of the trip. After this we went to the theatre and watched Romeo & Juliet! We arrived home at 4:10 am... I was tired.
